Kapil Sharma has been ruling the hearts of audiences for over a decade with his talent. The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV was one of the most popular and entertaining comedy shows. However, this year, the comedian-actor shifted from TV to OTT platform Netflix with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Naturally, the slot for his TV show was empty. Well, the TV-watching audiences will soon get to laugh their hearts out as Sharma's slot is now taken over by comedian Zakir Khan. Khan is all set to make his entry into everyone's hearts with Aapka Apna Zakir.
Recently, Sony TV dropped the promo for Zakir Khan's Aapka Apna Zakir. The promo features Stree 2 actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, and director Karan Johar. Zakir's team includes Shweta Tiwari, Rithvik Dhanjani and Gopal Datt. The promo looks fun and the set-up does remind us of Kapil Sharma's show. However, Zakir brings his own humour, touch, and simplicity, as seen in the promo.
As soon as the promo was released, many fans shared their reactions in the comments section. Some people are happy for Zakir as he's getting his own TV show, while others also commented that he will leave Kapil behind. One comment reads, "Kapil Sharma show ka Dukaan band ho chuka hai" (Kapil's shop is now shut). Another comment reads:. "Kapil sharma aap dusre safar pe nikaliye...ab to zakir bhai tv ke chaane wale hai" (Kapil, you head on to another journey. Now Zakir is going to rule the TV.
A Zakir fan wrote, "Bande k liye dil se khushi hoti hai yaar!!! Just a proud fan, @zakirkhan_208, bhaiiiii!!!" Another commented, "Lovely , Best deserved, Bro. Show IMPORTANT hai." Last month, Zakir shared some photos about his solo TV show and gave an inspiring caption. He wrote, "Your life won't bring you surprises tomorrow if you don't dream big today."

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma's The Great Indian Kapil Show received mixed reactions from the audience. The comedy show also stars Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur. The first season features guests like Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rohit Sharma, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, etc. The show is renewed for second season.
