Yerevan   hosts International Festival of Symphony Orchestras

ArmInfo. At the initiative of the municipality of the capital, another major cultural project will be implemented in Yerevan.  From September 17 to 24, the first Yerevan International Festival of Symphony Orchestras will take place in the capital of Armenia. The event, known as "Yerevan Classic Fest", will be held outdoors in Tumanyan Park.

The La Scala Academy Orchestra  and the St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing on the same stage as the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia and the Choir of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. The State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia and the Youth Symphony Orchestra "Yerevan" are also expected to perform.
