Aapka Apna Zakir host Zakir Khan reacts to continuous comparisons with Kapil Sharma and The Great Indian Kapil Show

Popular stand-up comedian Zakir Khan has made his TV debut with the show Aapka Apna Zakir. The comedian has managed to impress all with his stand-up acts and shayaris. Well, the comedian has earned a huge fan base and manages to turn heads with his impeccable style. In Zakir's show, the celebrities will be seen gracing the show to promote their upcoming movies and web series.

Since the announcement, the comedian has been in the news as his show has replaced comedian Kapil Sharma's hit show The Kapil Sharma Show. Well, within no time netizens are comparing him to Sharma and now Zakir has finally reacted to comparisons. In an interview with TV9Bharatvarsh Zakir Khan said, Kapil Sharma is a big artiste and said that he is not okay with the comparisons. Zakir said that Kapil is the pioneer of their art and he paved the way for other comedians in the film industry. He also added that the way Kapil worked hard and his immense fame helped comedians. Zakir further added that when Kapil's shows became extremely successful, he benefited while sitting in Delhi when he was a small-time comedian. He also said that he benefited even later when he moved to Mumbai. Zakir has an immense respect for Sharma and there can never be a competition between the two. Zakir even added that he is from the house which lit up because of Kapil and he is not ashamed to say this. He says that he respects Kapil a lot and meets him with a lot of love as well.

Sharma's comedy show streams on Netflix, while Zakir Khan's third episode featured Vedaa stars John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh and Abhishek Banerjee. The show aired on August 17 and August 18.
