TVS Motor Company has unveiled the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110, a significant upgrade to one of India’s most popular scooters. Priced at Rs 73,700 (ex-showroom), the new model boasts a refreshed design, additional features, and enhanced performance.
Aesthetics and Dimensions
The 2024 Jupiter 110 features a striking new look with an LED daytime running light, integrated turn indicators, and a matching LED tail light. It’s available in six eye-catching colors: Meteor Red Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte, Lunar White Gloss, Starlight Blue Gloss, Galactic Copper Matte, and Dawn Blue Matte.
The scooter is slightly longer and lower than its predecessor while maintaining the same wheelbase. It also benefits from weight reduction, making it more agile and efficient.
Performance and Efficiency
Under the hood, the new Jupiter 110 is powered by a 113.5cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 8 bhp and 9.2 Nm of torque. TVS has included an IGo assist feature to provide extra torque during city overtaking, and the integrated start-stop system contributes to improved fuel efficiency.
The scooter’s fuel tank is now located in the floorboard, freeing up underseat storage space. With a capacity of 33 liters, the under-seat storage is among the best in class.
Features and Technology
The 2024 Jupiter 110 offers a range of features, including a new color LCD instrument cluster on higher-spec variants. This cluster incorporates Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and additional features through the SmartXonnect phone app.
Safety and Handling
Safety is addressed with a telescopic fork and a mono-shock suspension setup. While ABS is still not available, the scooter does feature a combined braking system. It rides on 12-inch wheels with 90/90-section tires.
