Audi Q8 facelift debuts in India, priced from Rs 1.17 crore
Audi India has introduced the updated Q8, starting at Rs 1.17 crore. While the SUV retains its core mechanical setup, it boasts subtle cosmetic enhancements and new features. Bookings are now open with a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.
Exterior Updates
The Q8 facelift showcases a refreshed exterior with a new octagonal single-frame grille featuring L-shaped inserts. The grille is flanked by striking HD Matrix LED headlights with laser diode technology. The rear design remains largely unchanged, but it now features digital OLED rear lights with four customizable light designs. Alloy wheels range from 21 to 23 inches.
It is available in eight exterior color options- Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige
Interior Refinements
Inside, the Q8 facelift offers a premium cabin with new upholstery and interior color options. Key features include twin MMI touchscreens, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, powered seats, multi-color ambient lighting, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and integrated third-party music apps (Spotify and Amazon Music).
Safety and Technology
Safety features abound, including ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Performance
Under the hood, the Q8 facelift is powered by a 3.0-liter turbo-petrol V6 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers 335 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
