Race 4: THIS Bollywood actor to play lead role in Saif Ali Khan starrer; filming to begin in 2025?
The Race franchise is one of the most popular thriller series which was directed by Abbas Mustan and starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role in 2008. Saif was roped in Race 2 which was released in 2013. Later, for Race 3 Salman Khan was roped in as the lead which was directed by Remo D'Souza. Well, Race 3 did not create wonders at the box office and fans were disappointed with the plot. Alongside Salman Khan, the movie featured Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, and Saqib Saleem in important roles.
In an exciting development for entertainment news fans, producer Ramesh Taurani is all set to reboot the franchise and the filming will begin in 2025. Well, Ramesh Taurani and his team are in talks with Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra to come on board for Race 4 as per a report in Pinkvilla.
According to the sources close to the development, Sidharth has shown interest in doing Race 4. If reports are to be believed then, Sidharth has been in discussions with Ramesh Taurani for a while now. Ramesh Taurani has got a team of in-house writers to develop the basic plot of Race 4. Moreover, he has outsourced it to some of the seasoned writers and directors to develop it into a screenplay. He has also initiated conversations with Sidharth to play the leading man of Race 4 alongside Saif Ali Khan. Well, Sidharth is a big fan of Race Franchise and is interested in doing the film.

Well, the Race franchise has always been a fight between two strong men. And this time there will be a face-off between Saif and Sid. Both the characters will have shades of grey. However, Race 4 will is being planned on a big scale and the team has immense faith in the franchise.
Well, Saif and Sid will be finalising the script once they hear the narration which is expected to take place around November 2024. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in the Telugu film Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva and co-starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. He is also part of Priyadarshan's upcoming thriller, where Bobby Deol will play the villain.
