NYC STD Outreach Program for Migrants?!

The New York Post reports NYC will launch an STD outreach program for the uninsured AND illegal immigrants!

NYC is set to launch an STD outreach program for illegal immigrants and the uninsured. 

This need for more outreach, education and services is due to a Health Department noted spike in STD cases in the last year or so. 

That spike coincides with the mass migrant arrival into the Big Apple but I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that syphilis rose 36% among women and gonorrhea jumped 11% among men in 2022… 

And while I’m all for STD prevention and education, better to treat and prevent than deal with the ramifications of a spread BUT it really begs the question, can NYC afford all of these special programs? 

They’ve already spent $5 billion on the migrant crisis and the tab is still open. 

Food, housing, education, public safety and now STD outreach?! 

It’s like an all-you-can-eat buffet of special perks afforded to people who did not earn it or pay for it.

At this rate, New York City will be bankrupt in no time!
