YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Yerevan is set to install 50 new bus shelters equipped with payment terminals by the end of the year, the city's Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan announced on Monday./pp

Grigoryan mentioned that the first of these modernized shelters will be placed soon after a monitoring process. I believe we will complete this work by September 15, Grigoryan stated during a working meeting at City Hall./pp

Earlier, Grigoryan had announced that the work on implementing a unified payment system for public transportation is expected to be completed by September 15. The city plans to launch this system on January 1, 2025./pp

As part of the primary program, special equipment (QR code-based ticket terminals) is being installed in buses and the metro, with plans to eventually extend this to trolleybuses./pp br/p
