Russia determined to develop relations with Armenia based on Friendship and Cooperation agreement - RF Embassy

The Russian Embassy in Armenia recalled that on August 29, 1997, the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia was signed.
In particular, Russia and Armenia agreed to strengthen in every possible way the traditional relations of friendship and comprehensive cooperation in the political, economic, military, scientific, cultural and other fields. Our countries also pledged to cooperate in enhancing stability and security both in the Transcaucasian region and throughout the world.
The Russian side is firmly committed to continuing and developing bilateral cooperation on the principles enshrined in the 1997 treaty>, - noted the Russian Embassy in Armenia.
