Anupamaa: Disheartened Nidhi Shah, Chandni Bhagwanani react after Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj quits

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is the talk of the town right now. Everyone is only talking about the show and its actors. Sudhanshu Pandey who plays Vanraj Shah announced that he is leaving the show. This announcement left everyone shocked. People could not believe it and wanted this to be a fake news. Sudhanshu came live on Instagram to share this news with his fans. He thanked everyone for loving him as Vanraj for four years. He apologised for his sudden decision to leave the show but said that he now wants to move ahead. He said that he would be back with many other characters for his fans.

However, people did not like this and requested him to return as Vanraj. His comments section was filled with people requesting him not to leave. This was a big story in Entertainment News. Vanraj is a grey shade character yet is one of the most loved. Sudhanshu Pandey's costars Nidhi Shah and Chandni Bhagwanani have reacted to this announcement.

Nidhi gets emotional as Sudhanshu Pandey leaves Anupamaa

Nidhi Shah aka Kinjal spoke to Pinkvilla and said that initially she felt it was a joke. She felt that he would work something out and return to the sets. Nidhi did not believe it until yesterday when Sudhanshu announced it on social media that he is leaving Anupamaa.

She said that she didn't know what to tell him to convince him to stay back in the show as it is an individual decision. She shared it is heartbreaking and sad that he is no longer a part of the show. She further said that she has been with him on the show since day 1 and he is one of her closest friend. She said that they became friends while working together and have also started sharing their personal problems with each other.

Nidhi further showered love on how Sudhanshu has played the character and said he is one of the most loved villains on TV. She added that Vanraj is an integral part of the show and is the only character that is unpredictable. She said that everyone in Shah family fears Vanraj but after he is gone the fear is gone.

Chandni calls Sudhanshu 'father figure'

Talking about Chandni, she that it was a sad thing and they are all giving him space as he must be getting so many calls after the announcement. She said that nobody on the sets is talking about this as everyone is very sensitive about it. She said that Sudhanshu was like a father figure to her and was very welcoming when she entered as Pakhi.

She revealed that he was one of the reasons why she is so happy on the sets and that she has learnt a lot from him. She added that everyone is sad about it and fans are messaging her as well about why Sudhanshu has taken this decision.

Chandni said that they are all missing him a lot and they were like a happy gang on the sets. They had some great memories on the sets with Sudhanshu.
