In her latest interviews, Kangana Ranaut has made many comments about actors and the film industry that have caught attention. In a latest interview, she spoke about Jaya Bachchan.
Jaya Bachchan who is also a member of Parliament recently objected to being referred as 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan' and it became a major headline in entertainment news. She had an argument of sorts with Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar and stated that women have their own identity, thus why refer to them with their husband's name. Now, Kangana Ranaut who has also become a politician commented on the same. During a chat with Fever FM, Kangana Ranaut mentioned that it is quite shameful that the 'beautiful difference between a man and a woman' is looked as discrimination. She also called it a 'petty issue'. She was quoted saying, "In the name of feminism, people are going in a ugly direction Society is going into an ugly direction." She further also stated that the beautiful bond within the families should be embraced and not be dissected. She stated, "People are simply flaring up with the name coming up like they're getting a panic attack or something. And when they say, 'My identity is taken over, I am destroyed' I just feel sad." She also labelled it as 'arrogance'.
Kangana Ranaut jumped into the world of politics this year as she got a ticket from BJP to be a candidate from Mandi. In the latest Lok Sabha Elections 2024, she won the Mandi constituency with a huge margin. Since then, Kangana is juggling between her careers as an actress and a politician.
