Kennedy: Neither Candidate Really Got A Bounce From Their Convention
Host of the “Kennedy Saves The World” podcast Kennedy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on why Vice President Kamala Harris did not receive a notable bump in the polls following last month’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
“We’ve learned that it’s a very different race than it was in June. And the debate is going to have much more impact than pretty much anything else, because the conventions didn’t give either candidate a bounce. And part of the reason the RNC didn’t, one, Trump speech was too long. Two. Biden resigned two days later. And hers was, even though, I mean, they really, they forced the joy, like you force food down a duck’s throat with that hose in order to make foie gras. And it just did not have any purchase. And, you know, they were like, I remember being there like, we’re going to get a 10, 15 point bump from this. Like, that’s how good this is. Like people were so happy. It was like being at a rave. You know, it was like everyone was just on ecstasy and almost to the point of having a political orgy. That’s how happy they were. But it’s like, why didn’t that translate? Because she’s not a great candidate and she doesn’t have any ideas.”
