Renault India Donates Vehicles to Indian Army’s Northern Command

In a significant gesture of support, Renault India has donated a fleet of its vehicles, including the Renault Kwid, Kiger, and Triber, to the 14 Corps of the Indian Army’s Northern Command.

Renault Vehicles Tailored for Tough Duties

Each of the vehicles donated by Renault comes equipped with features that make them ideal for supporting the transportation needs of the Northern Command:

• Renault Kwid: Known for its affordability and feature-rich package, the Kwid offers an 8-inch touchscreen Media NAV system, making it the most affordable hatchback in its class to offer such advanced infotainment. Safety has been prioritized with more than 14 standard safety features, including a rear seatbelt reminder.
• Renault Triber: The Triber is designed to cater to the needs of Indian families with its spacious and modular design. The vehicle boasts a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, a wireless charger, and additional features like a driver seat armrest and power-folding ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), making it versatile and convenient for both family use and official purposes.
• Renault Kiger: The Kiger, Renault’s sporty SUV, is equipped with luxurious semi-leatherette seats and a leatherette steering wheel, ensuring a premium driving experience. It also features auto-fold ORVMs and a bezel-less auto-dimming IRVM (Inside Rear View Mirror). The Kiger’s TURBO engine variant now includes red brake calipers, adding a sporty touch, while new RXL and RXT(O) variants expand the lineup.

Strengthening the Nation’s Defence Forces

The Northern Command operates in some of the most challenging environments in the country, and the Renault Kwid, Kiger, and Triber are expected to aid the Command’s mobility and logistical needs, providing reliable transportation for a variety of tasks.
