Shah Rukh Khan came under Government's scrutiny because of THIS man; 'He tried everything he could...'

Shah Rukh Khan needs no introduction. He is the biggest superstar who rules hearts of his zillion fans spread across the globe. It is a dream come true moment for anyone to work with King Khan himself. One man got the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh Khan, however, the actor came under Government's scrutiny because of his employee. We are talking about Wedding Filmer aka Vishal Punjabi. He used to work with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment until he got deported from India.

In a chat with Brown Game Strong YouTube channel, Vishal Punjabi revealed what exactly went wrong when he was working for Shah Rukh Khan. He revealed that he was an integral part of Red Chillies Entertainment and was handling many projects for King Khan. He worked with SRK for almost ten years. However, then he got deported from India as he did not have an official work visa. In 2007, Vishal Punjabi planned a big film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. He shared that he wrote the script along with Zoya Akhtar and the stars had given a positive nod too. But then he got deported as he could not work in the country on tourist visa.

As reported by entertainment news sites, Vishal Punjabi further elaborated that Shah Rukh Khan did his best and pulled strings to help him with the visa. But that brought the actor under Government's scrutiny. Vishal was quoted saying, "The fact that I worked with Shah Rukh made my case worse because he was under scrutiny. For some reason, governments aren't very kind to him, I think it has to do with his religion. It was heartbreaking for him as well because I was in charge of a lot of big projects for him. He tried everything that he could to see me come back." He mentioned that after 26/11 attacks as the Government changed, his deportation was revoked and he was allowed to work in India.
