Suren Tovmasyan, head of the Cadastral Committee , said that it refers to situations when mistakes were made during digitisation of cadastral data, due to which citizens paid less property tax. According to the current legislation, citizens are obliged not only to reimburse the amount of taxes that were not paid for all these years, but also have to pay fines and penalties for the whole period./pp

According to the bill, citizens will be exempted from the obligation to pay penalties and fines that have accumulated due to an error made by the cadastre itself. At the same time, those citizens who have not paid property taxes during these years will still be fined./pp

At the same time, Babken Tunyan, head of the parliamentary committee on economic issues, said that by the second reading, the issue of cancelling additional tax liabilities, which were formed through no fault of citizens, may be considered. -0-/pp nbsp;/pp nbsp;/p
