Salman Khan leaves Sikander shoot midway for ex-bhabhi Malaika Arora; arrives at Anil Mehta's house
Bollywood actor Salman Khan who was busy shooting for his upcoming film Sikander with Rashmika Mandanna has finally arrived at Malaika Arora's father's Anil Mehta's house in Bandra. The actor was spotted outside Malaika's father's house. Malaika's father, Anil Mehta, died on Wednesday after he took his life by jumping from the balcony. After the news of Malaika's father broke out, celebrities rushed to offer condolences. Several members of the Khan family were seen consoling Malaika. Well, Salman did not make it to the house or to the funeral to pay his last respects. Fans stated various reasons for Salman's absence. Well, Salman was not in the city when the tragic incident happened.

Malaika's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was the first to get spotted outside Anil Mehta's residence. Soon, Salim Khan, Salma Khan and Sohail Khan joined them. Arbaaz's wife, Sshura Khan was also spotted at the funeral. Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Geeta Kapoor and more celebrities arrived at the funeral.

Malaika had shared her first post after her father's death as she wrote, 'We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect'. Malaika's parents divorced when she was 11 and they moved to Chembur. Her mother, Joyce Polycarp, is a Malayali Christian who took care of her girls by working hard. Anil Mehta was a Punjabi Hindu from the Indian border town of Fazilka who worked in the Indian Merchant Navy.
Joycee Polycarp said that she was in the house when the incident took place. She said that she noticed her husband's slippers in the living room and began looking for him in the balcony. As she did not find him there, she leaned over the railing and noticed that he was lying on the floor.
