Anupamaa serial: After Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma aka Kavya QUITS Rajan Shahi's show; says 'I would have continued if...'

Anupamaa TV serial produced by Rajan Shahi is witnessing some major changes. Sudhanshu Pandey who played the role of Vanraj Shah made an abrupt exit. Fans were shocked to know that Sudhanshu who played a pivotal role in the TV serial has quit the show. A lot of rumours of him having tiff with Rupali Ganguly and Rajan Shahi made headlines. After his exit, another star has now confirmed quitting the show. Madalsa Sharma who played the role of Kavya has now quit Anupamaa.

Madala Sharma played the role of Kavya Shah in Anupamaa. She was Vanraj Shah's second wife. Anupamaa divorced Vanraj Shah and her life turned upside down after Kavya's entry. However, over the episodes, Kavya's character witnessed a major change. From being a negative character, she turned into the biggest supporter of Anupamaa. In an interview with entertainment news portal Bombay Times, Madalsa Sharma revealed the reason behind her sudden decision to exit Anupamaa. She shared that when she entered the show, Kavya's character was shown as a strong and independent woman who had guts to fall in love with a married man. As a grey character, there was a lot of potential for character growth. But over the past year, Madalsa felt that that the story was no longer about Vanraj, Anupamaa and Kavya. She also mentioned that there's not much spark and spice left in her character but she would have continued to be a part of Anupamaa had Kavya still been a character with grey shades. She added that thought the creative team tried to do something new with Kavya, it did not pan out as expected. Thus, Madalsa and Rajan Shahi came to a mutual decision that she should move on from Anupamaa.

Madalsa Sharma shared an excellent rapport with Rupali Ganguly, Nishi Saxena, Alpana Buch and other team members. Fans often got to see all of them dancing together over the BTS videos. It remains to be seen how the character of Kavya comes to an end in Anupamaa. Right now, there is a mystery around Vanraj Shah's character too along with Anu and Anuj Kapadia's love story.
