The Investigative Committee said about new tests in the case of the deadly poisoning near Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk Krai, new tests were conducted as part of the criminal investigation into the poisoning of a large family, which resulted in the death of four children. This was reported on September 24 in the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that samples of buccal epithelium for molecular genetic examination were taken from the parents and relatives of minors. In addition, specialists sent to the forensic center of the IC RF tissue samples of the bodies of the deceased children for additional analysis.

"An additional examination of the scene of the incident in the house at the place of residence of the family was conducted. Cell phones of family members were seized, their examination with the use of hardware-software complex UFED", - specified in the management.

In addition, a video recording of a visit to the store, where the mother of the dead children bought food products, which, as the investigation suggests, could have poisoned the whole family, has been analyzed.

The Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk region reported to "Izvestia" that the condition of the parents of the dead children is satisfactory, the patients are conscious. They continue to be under the supervision of doctors.

The poisoning of the family in the village of Krasnaya Sopka, Krasnoyarsk region was reported on September 21. The victims sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the underage brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, a third child died, and on September 23, a fourth child died. The adults were in serious condition, they regained consciousness only in the morning of September 23.

As reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor department, the store where the poisoned family bought dumplings with chicken, sold products with violations of veterinary requirements. A criminal case was opened under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage or sale of goods and products that do not meet safety requirements, causing death by negligence").

The spouses gave testimony to the investigators. In particular, the mother stated that she did not add foreign substances during the preparation of dishes. Employees of the prosecutor's office seized in their house a loose substance of light color and an antibiotic for cattle, stored in the refrigerator. It was also later learned that the family's home had been treated with dichlophos on the day of the tragedy. However, later it became known that forensic examination did not find traces of insecticide in the bodies of the children's father and one of the girls.
