Arshad Warsi finally clarifies on 'joker' remark against Prabhas; 'When we give a bad character...'
At IIFA 2024, a lot of celebrities walked the green carpet. The event was held in Abhu Dhabi and was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and more. Arshad Warsi was one of the celebrity guests who attended the event. He interacted with the media and broke silence on his comment on Prabhas. Recently, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor had commented on Kalki 2898 AD and stated that Prabhas was made to look like a joker. It became a big headline and Arshad Warsi recently criticism too. Now at IIFA 2024, Arshad Warsi clarified over his remake.
So at the event, Arshad Warsi praised Prabhas for being a brilliant actor and also shared his intent behind making the statement. He stated that everyone has their own point of view and like to interpret noise. But when he made the joker remark, he was only speaking about the character and not the person, Arshad Warsi clarified. He added that Prabhas is a brilliant actor and he has proved himself. But 'when we give a bad character to a good actor, it's heartbreaking for the audience,' he commented.

After Arshad made the 'joker' comment, it received a strong reaction from the South film industry. Nag Ashwin, the director of Kalki 2898 AD, also took to his social media account stating that the Asur actor should have chosen better words but it is okay and he would send Buji toys for his kids. Even Dasara star Nani had a strong reaction to Arshad Warsi's statement saying, "The person that you're referring to, this must be the most publicity he has got in his life. You are unnecessarily glorifying an unimportant matter." At IIFA 2024, Arshad clarified everything and shared what he really meant to say.
