Thalapathy Vijay's The GOAT OTT release date out, Here’s where and when to watch it

The Greatest of All Time, aka The GOAT, released in theatres on September 5, 2024. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. The movie received mixed responses from the critics. However, Thalapathy's fans thoroughly enjoyed their favourite superstar in action mode. It has an opening of Rs 44 crore at the box office. Well, there's good news for all the fans. The movie is all set to release on an OTT platform soon.

It hasn't even been a month since The GOAT was released in theatres and the release date for its OTT release is already out. Fans of Thalapathy Vijay and the action thriller genre can stream the movie on Netflix from October 3, 2024. The streaming platform took to their social media to share this big update today. What's exciting is viewers can enjoy the movie in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi language.

On its Instagram page, Netflix India shared a thrilling poster of The Goat featuring Vijay. The caption reads, "Ever seen a lion become a GOAT?! Thalapathy Vijay's The G.O.A.T. The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on October 3 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, & Hindi. #TheGOATOnNetflix."

In the comments, fans have shared their reactions to this big update. One person commented, "Thalapathy fans assemble here." Another wrote, "Director's cut version is on the way." A lot of fans are hoping that the Netflix version would be different than the theatrical version and the print will be the director's cut. We can only find this out when the movie drops online. Meanwhile, The GOAT also stars Prabhu Deva, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Sneha, Mohan, and several others. It is Vijay's second last movie before he quits movies. The actor is all set to join politics after his stint in the film industry for several decades. Earlier, in an interview, director Venkat Prabhu stated that his film is like a farewell to the Tamil superstar.

After this, Vijay will appear in another action film, tentatively titled #Thalapathy69. It is the superstar's last movie, which is being helmed by H Vinoth. The film will hit theatres in October next year.
