YEREVAN, 1 October. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received on Tuesday an Iranian government delegation led by the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic Mohammad Reza Arif, the Armenian government reported./pp
Reaffirming the words of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic once again stressed that Iran fully supports Armenia's territorial integrity and considers inadmissible any changes of borders in the region. At the same time, he stressed Iran's determination and readiness for diverse cooperation with Armenia./pp
Pashinyan noted that the continuous development of Armenia's relations with Iran is one of the priorities of his government. The Prime Minister highly assessed Iran's principled and public position on the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia and inviolability of its internationally recognised state borders./pp
Pashinyan touched upon the recent developments in the discussions on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the project of his government's ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project aimed at unblocking regional communications and its principles, stressing that Armenia is ready to promote the development of trade and economic relations with the interested states through unblocking of all roads on the basis of the principles of sovereignty, jurisdiction, equality and reciprocity./pp
