Baier had this to say on Tim Walz’s Tiananmen Square answer:
“I mean, again, through the prism of Donald Trump or J.D. Vance, if they had answered, well, you know, I said this wrong because I was a knucklehead and sometimes I say things wrong, I just don’t think it would fly. And, you know, it’s not one thing that two things and it’s not just 1 or 2 times. He said some of this stuff many, many times to the point of why are you saying it? And you know, it’s not factual.”
