Azerbaijan starts mass demolition of residential buildings in  Stepanakert

ArmInfo.The Azerbaijani administration has begun the mass demolition of residential buildings  in occupied Stepanakert. This was reported by the former Minister of Culture, Youth and Tourism of the NKR Sergey Shahverdyan, who supported his post with photo evidence.

According to him, over the past few days, the historical quarters of  the capital along Tumanyan Street have been razed to the ground, thus  violating the property rights of thousands of owners of private  buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

"The residents of Stepanakert need to urgently organize and, by all  available means, demand that the Armenian authorities and  international organizations take public steps to ensure the  collective rights of the people of Artsakh, including the right to  return and property rights.

The NKR authorities need to take on the function of coordinating a  mass movement to protect the collective rights of the people of  Artsakh. Maybe even start with tomorrow's actions," the official from  Artsakh noted.
