Alia Bhatt reacts to rumours of Salman Khan getting replaced in Inshallah
Inshallah was one of the most discussed movie projects a few years ago. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was going to helm the story featuring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. It was supposed to be a love story between two people who had a vast age difference. However, the movie never saw the light. Alia, who is currently enjoying the praises coming her way for Jigra, has now reacted to the rumours about the movie.
After Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt is collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Love & War. In an interview with The Lallantop, Alia was asked about the film's status, to which she said that she hopes Bhansali makes the film someday as it is a brilliant story. Bhatt called it a "lovely" love story. When the anchor asked about the rumours that the hero might get "replaced", Alia said, "Whatever Sanjay sir decides will be the best for the film!"
So will Sanjay Leela Bhansali replace Salman Khan in Inshallah? Only time will tell. Further in this entertainment news, recently, the Devdas director revealed how affected Alia was when the movie got shelved. The director told The Hollywoor Reporter India that the actress broke down, cracked up, cried and locked herself in a room when that happen. Bhansali said, "Then, I called her up after one week and said, 'You're playing Gangubai.'. She said, 'I was going to play a character in Los Angeles and now I've come to Kamathipura, how will I do it? I don't know this character.' I told her I will tap into that strong woman in you because I can see it in your eyes. I can see how convinced you are of certain things because of your personality."

Meanwhile, Love & War also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. It is Ranbir's second film with Bhansali after his debut, Saawariyaa. The film is slated to hit theatres in 2026. Earlier, there were reports that the movie will clash with Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan's The King.
