Inter reportedly eye Maldini as potential option to bolster attack
The name Daniel Maldini has set the Inter Milan transfer market abuzz in recent days, following reports of the Nerazzurri’s interest. This speculation was further fuelled by the sighting of Sporting Director Piero Ausilio at the stadium during Monza’s recent match against Roma.
At present, the situation is merely one of interest with nothing more substantial, but a move for Maldini to Inter would undoubtedly make headlines, given his past with AC Milan and the illustrious family he hails from.
Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini addressed the topic in his editorial for TMW.
Ceccarini noted, “Since the transfer market can’t offer absolute certainties, Inter are always on the lookout for potential interesting opportunities.”
“One of these options is certainly Jonathan David, who will leave Lille next June and is also being closely monitored by Juventus and Napoli.”
The Canadian is also catching the attention of Barcelona and Newcastle.
Ceccarini added, “Among the opportunities remains the possibility of Maldini, who has started the season excellently and was deservedly called up to the National team by Spalletti.”
