Ceccarini has reportedly revealed Maldini as an opportunity for Inter in the transfer market.
Daniel Maldini has undoubtedly emerged as one of the standout figures at the start of this Serie A season.
His impressive performance with Monza has allowed the footballing scion to shed the label of being unfairly favoured, which some had attempted to stick on him. Now, Maldini is sought after by many.
In addition to his call-up to the national team, accompanied by praises from head coach Luciano Spalletti, several clubs are showing interest in him, including Juventus and Inter, noted journalist Niccolò Ceccarini in his editorial for TMW.
“The transfer market never provides absolute certainties,” remarked Ceccarini, adding that “Inter is always alert to opportunities that may arise.”
He further commented on potential signings, saying, “One of the options is definitely Jonathan David, who will be free from Lille in June and is also attracting interest from Juventus and Napoli. Barcelona and Newcastle are also in the mix for the Canadian.”
Ceccarini also mentioned Maldini as among the intriguing prospects, asserting, “Maldini has had an excellent start to the season and was deservedly rewarded by Spalletti with a national team call-up.”
