The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The movie directed by Anees Bazmee is going to hit the theatres in Diwali. He is on his toes promoting the movie and creating the buzz. In a recent media interaction, Kartik Aaryan opened up about his struggling phase in the industry including his financial struggle.
In an interview with entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Kartik Aaryan spoke about the debate around actors charging enormous amount for films. He stated that there is a business model and everything is calculated. If the calculation falls in place, then everything is right. He stated that the actors should be involved when it comes to financials of the films and support the producers. Talking about debates, Kartik Aaryan shared his opinion and stated that people are not conducting the calculations and hence there are such debates. The calculations go off and thus, there is dissatisfaction. He only hopes to keep his producers happy with his calculation. He recalled how he let go of his fees for Shehzada as the film was struggling and that is why the makers were gracious enough to give the tag of producer.
Further in the interview, Kartik Aaryan was asked if he did a film only for money. He said yes. He explained that there was a time when he was severely short on money and that is why he had to sign the film. He did not reveal which film though. He added that in the beginning, he wasn't getting many options and he couldn't wait for more, thus, he had to sign a film only for money. He was asked if he picked any movie only on the basis of big producer and not the script. The actor stated that no, he hasn't done that and he goes on his instinct.
