Putin, Pashinyan to have a chance to communicate at BRICS summit
ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will have a chance to communicate at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Sergey Kopyrkin, the Russian Ambassador to Yerevan, stated in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, Pashinyan's decision to participate in the BRICS+ events within the framework of the 16th BRICS summit in Kazan, as per Putin's personal invitation, demonstrates the strong relationship between Russia and Armenia at the highest levels. "I believe that our leaders will have the chance to communicate, but the format and agenda will depend on the program of this international forum, which will be extensive," Kopyrkin noted in response to whether Russian-Armenian contacts are planned "on the sidelines" of the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan.
