Inter’s target reported to be pursued by Napoli amid Conte and Inzaghi discussions.
As the highly anticipated Serie A clash between Inter and Napoli draws nearer, much is expected to be revealed about the form and potential title aspirations of both teams. This encounter could also see the rivalry between Simone Inzaghi and Antonio Conte extend into the transfer market.
According to Niccolò Ceccarini in his editorial for TMW, Napoli have not only set their sights on the former Juventus player Dragusin but also on Kiwior.
Kiwior is a Polish defender, currently playing for Arsenal and his national team. Many Inter fans might remember the strong links to him during the summer transfer window.
Ceccarini poses the question, “Could this be a second showdown between Conte and Inzaghi on and off the pitch?”
In his analysis, Ceccarini stated, “Napoli’s search for a central defender continues. There are many profiles under consideration, and certainly among them are Dragusin and Kiwior.”
Speaking about the transfer situation, Ceccarini noted, “Tottenham has not yet opened to any transfer for Dragusin. As for the Arsenal central defender, there are significantly more possibilities since he continues to find limited playing time under Arteta.”
