Raj Kundra reacts to ED raids in pornography case, slams media for dragging Shilpa Shetty's name
Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty have been in the news for wrong reasons. The difficulties for Raj aren't stopping. Yesterday, it was reported that the Enforcement Directorate raided the premises of businessman Raj Kundra. They conducted the raid on several locations regarding an investigation into alleged money laundering which is connected to adult content production and distribution via mobile applications. Reports suggested that around 15 locations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh are being searched and the probe pertains to the role of suspects in the alleged distribution of pornographic content.
In 2021, Raj Kundra was arrested in an adult content case. He was granted bail but was under scrutiny in a separate money laundering investigation related to bitcoin fraud. He faced charges like the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act and the Information Technology Act of the Indian Penal Code. Amidst this, people were also dragging Shilpa Shetty's name stating that she is being involved in this.

Now, Raj Kundra took to his Instagram account to share a statement around the ED raids happening. He wrote, "To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let's set the record straight: I'm fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of 'associates', 'pornographic', and 'money laundering', let's just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth. In the end, justice will prevail!"
Then slammed the media for dragging Shilpa's name in the case and asked them to respect the boundaries. He wrote, "A note to the media: It's unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife's name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries !!!"

Earlier yesterday, Shilpa Shetty's lawyer, Advocate Prashant Patil, also issued a statement clarifying that there were no Enforcement Directorate raids on Shilpa and refuted any reports connecting her to the investigation.
