R Madhavan's wife Sarita was insecure of the female attention he got, actor reveals how he saved his marriage

We have all loved R Madhavan in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. The movie will never get old for many of us and has a huge fan following. He has been a part of many other movies like 3 Idiots, 13 B, Tanu Weds Manu and others. He has also done many films in the South and is quite popular even there. However, we have seen he has a huge and a crazy fan following and most of it is the female fan following. When he did Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, he got a lot of female attention. However, the actor has always been loyal to his wife, Sarita Birje. They both have been each other's biggest support.

R Madhavan reveals how he protected his marriage when wife was insecure of his female fan following

He recently opened up about the secret of his happy marriage with Sarita. R Madhavan spoke to advocate Vandana Shah. She is currently handling her client Saira Banu who recently announced her decision to divorce A R Rahman. He revealed that his wife, Sarita was insecure when he decided to start as an actor. He spoke about it on the YouTube channel For A Change.

He said that he was an actor and and was being hailed as the chocolate boy, and girls were fond of him. He added tht this would create an insecurity for the woman and having this insecurity is good enough for a marriage to become unstable. He asked his parents what they did for their marriage and they told him 'We decided to spend our lives together so why assume that things are going to go wrong?'.

R Madhavan revealed that they always thought everything will be good and they always had a joint account for everything. Hence, he also decided to have a joint account so that if Sarita keeps feeling insecure she can look at the joint account that belongs to both and they are equal signatory on it.

He added that this way the marriage will work and is a way to say that he trusts her and she should also trust him. He shared how several financial decisions can change a couple's married life. He and Sarita are joint owners in whatever properties, cars they have.

R Madhavan and Sarita got married in 1999 and have a son- Vedaant.
