Alia Bhatt to lead another female-centric project; in talks for a supernatural thriller

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is one of the highest-paid diva in the industry. She is one of the most celebrated of Hindi Cinema in modern times and manages to rule million of hearts with her infectious smile. Well, recently Alia wrapped up shooting for the YRF Spy Universe film, Alpha and has started shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love And War with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. It seems as Alia is quite busy till November 2025 as reportedly she has given her dates to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film.

Is Alia Bhatt to be seen in a supernatural horror thriller?

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Alia Bhatt is in talks with Dinesh Vijan for a feature film. Yes, you read that right. According to sources close to the development, Alia has been visiting Maddock's office to discuss a supernatural horror thriller. A source was quoted by a portal saying, 'Alia has always discussed multiple feature films with Dinesh Vijan and is now on the verge of collaborating with the producer. The actress has loved a psychological supernatural thriller, which could be her next after Love And for the big screen. The talks are on, and things are expected to be on paper by the first quarter of 2025'.

However, the film has been tentatively titled Chamunda and it holds significance to the plot. The film reportedly is in the writing stage. Alia is quite excited to partner with Maddock on this feature film and her upcoming film might start a parallel universe with other horror comedy universe including Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Thamma. The source also quoted saying, that the new universe will feature, Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani among many others. Kiara is partnering with Maddock on a mythological supernatural horror thriller titled Devi.

On the work front, Alia is also in talks with a love story with a filmmaker. She was last seen in Vasan Bala's film Jigra, alongside Vedang Raina and the film failed to perform well at the box office.
