Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has released in the theatres. The hype around the film is crazy. Fans have opted to watch even the midnight shows, with hiked ticket prices as well. For a long time, fans were waiting for Pushpa 2: The Rule and now that finally it has hit screens, they are unable to keep calm. The film directed by Sukumar has received a massive release with most of the screens, be it multiplexes or single screens, showcasing only one film and that is Pushpa 2: The Rule. But did its release impact Christopher Nolan's Interstellar?

Pushpa 2 halts Interstellar's re-release in India?

Recently, reports went viral in entertainment news that due to the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule in 2D, IMAX and 3D versions, the re-release of Christopher Nolan's film Interstellar got impacted. Due to Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 occupying all the IMAX screens, Interstellar that is slated to re-release on December 6, could not get any space. On social media, many fans of Christopher Nolan expressed disappointment on social media. Many commented that Interstellar should re-release and comparisons began. One of the comments read, "They couldn't re-release Interstellar on IMAX in India, coz people wanted to watch this on IMAX." The post had an image attached of Pushpa 2.

Well, the truth is Interstellar wasn't scheduled to re-release in India. As per a report in RepublicWorld.com, the re-release of Interstellar in IMAX is happening in US alone and not in India. Thus, there was no clash between Pushpa 2 and Interstellar in the first place. And neither did the theatre owners chose one film over the other.

Pushpa 2: The Rule that has released in six different languages has also released in different formats. However, its 3D version is yet not available for the fans to see. Reportedly, the 3D version will release only next week as it is not ready yet. But now everyone is high on Pushpa 2 fever. So much so that a stampede also took place in Hyderabad and tragedy struck as a woman reportedly lost her life.
