Transfer Speculation Sees Torino Exchange Ricci for Napoli’s Simeone

Torino have turned their attention to the January transfer market, with Giovanni Simone emerging as the club’s primary target. This development was reported by Tuttosport this morning.

De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, is reportedly open to the idea of transferring Simone, while the player himself is keen to join a team that will provide him with regular playing opportunities.

According to the same source, the Napoli chief has made his financial demands clear, requesting a sum of €15 million for the forward. In addition, he has expressed a desire for an option on Ricci, should Torino decide to sell the player in June.

However, should Ricci, who has previously been linked with Milan and Inter, remain with Torino in the upcoming summer transfer window, this option would become void.

It is too early to predict how these potential negotiations will conclude, especially with Monza’s Andrea Petagna also being mentioned in the background.

What is certain is that Cairo and Vagnati appear fully committed to providing Vanoli, whose team lost their top striker and captain Duvan Zapata, with the forward they need.
