While speaking at Times Network's IEC 2024, Vikrant got candid about how TV actors are underestimated in the film industry. The actor said that it doesn't matter where one comes from, how much money they have or whether they can speak English. The only thing that matters is that they're doing their job well.

Further in this entertainment news, Vikrant Massey called himself a living example of the same and said that he had worked in movies for 10 years now. "When I first started working in television, many people told me, 'TV actor logo ka yahan kuch nahi hone wala. You'll always be the hero's friend.' This thing really hurt me a lot. And now these same people call me from work," said the actor.

Vikrant Massey has worked in TV shows like Dhoom Machao Dhoom, Dharam Veer, Balika Vadhu, Qubool Hai, etc. In 2013, he made his Bollywood debut with the film Lootera. Some of his popular movies are Dil Dhadakne Do, Lipstick Under My Burkha, A Death in the Gunj, Love Hostel, 12th Fail, Haseen Dillruba, The Sabarmati Report, etc. Recently, Vikrant shocked everyone with his Instagram post which hinted that he is retiring from movies. But the actor later said that he is just taking a short break as he is burnt out.
