Pushpa 2 The Rule box office day 19: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s film crosses Rs 1070 crore amid stampede controversy

Pushpa 2 Movie: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil continues smashing records at the box office. As per the latest update from Sacnilk.com, the film has managed to collect Rs 1074.85 crore worldwide. Yes, you read that right!

As per early estimates, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 12.25 crore on Day 19 which is its lowest single-day collection as of now. The film released on December 4 and has earned Rs 10.65 crore, followed by Rs 164.25 crore on its opening day. Pushpa 2: The Rule has collected Rs 725.8 crore net in India and earned Rs 264.8 crore in its second week.

The film has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal. Pushpa 2 will now face competition from Varun Dhawan's action film Baby John which stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Baby John will be released in cinemas on December 25. Pushpa 2: The Rule will be followed by Pushpa 3: The Rampage.

However, Pushpa 2: The Rule has been a blockbuster despite it being surrounded by controversies. The stampede during its premiere at Sandhya Theatre resulted in the tragic death of a woman. Superstar Allu Arjun was summoned to the Chikkadpally police station for questioning.

As per recent reports, Pushpa 2 has earned approximately Rs 1418 crore worldwide as of Day 16. On the 19th day, the film managed to rake in around Rs 2.31 crore (nett) in India for all languages.

On December 4, Allu Arjun visited Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad along with his wife Sneha Reddy and his Pushpa 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Allu Arjun's presence led to chaos and a stampede-like situation. The police took action by filing an FIR against Allu Arjun and the theatre management. Allu Arjun's Hyderabad house was vandalised by individuals who claimed to be the OU JAC (Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students). His father, Allu Aravind, addressed the press present at Arjun's Hyderabad property. He said, 'Everyone has seen what happened at our house today. But it is time for us to act accordingly. Now is not the right time for us to react to anything. The law will take its own course'.
