Bollywood has been fascinated with biopics for a long time now. Biopics on many legendary celebrities, politicians, business tycoons, cricketers, Army officers and more have been made and turned successful. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Mary Kom, Sam Bahadur, Sanju, Shershaah are some of the examples. Recently, Kartik Aaryan's movie Chandu Champion - a biopic on Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar received a great response from the audience. For a while now, there have been speculations around biopic of Tennis Star Sania Mirza. Is it really happening?

Sania Mirza has THIS to say about her biopic

In a recent interview, Sania Mirza spilled the beans. To Hindustan Times, the ace Tennis player shared that a biopic is on the card but of late, she hasn't received many offers. She was quoted saying, "A biopic has been on the cards, a lot of people have been talking about it. But I haven't had offers of late, unless my managers have not told me about any!"

Sania is a single mother. She married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in the year 2010. But after being together for 13 years, they decided to part ways. In 2023, their divorce ruled headlines in entertainment news. They have a son named Izhaan. They are said to be co-parenting. In the interview, Sania did share that motherhood will always be her priority. She said her son Izhaan will always come first even among her professional commitments. She added that she tries to balance between her son and work, and tries to not stay away from him for more than two days. If there is a biopic made, it remains to be seen whether the episode of Sania Mirza's marriage will find space or not.

When Sania Mirza appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show, she shared that she would want Akshay Kumar to play her love interest in her biopic. In one of the other shows, Sania shared that she would like to see Parineeti playing her character in the biopic. Fans are eagerly waiting for a confirmation!
