Traditional torchlight procession on the eve of  Armenian Genocide  Day to take place this year as well

ArmInfo.  The traditional torchlight procession, organized annually by the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party on the eve of the Armenian Genocide Day, will be held this year as well. Kristine Vardanyan, a member of the RA National Assembly from the opposition faction "Armenia," reported this to journalists  on April 21

According to her, the procession will begin at 19:15 from the  Republic Square. The party believes it is especially important to  hold a torchlight procession this year. This decision comes at a time  when Armenian authorities are, for the most part, questioning the   Armenian Genocide and making statements that are not in the best  interests of the state.  The MP noted that the ARF party attaches  great importance to the upcoming torchlight procession, expecting a  response from the public to the question of whether this day holds  significance for the Armenian people or not.
