Armenia`s premier invites Turkish president to Armenia next spring 

ArmInfo.  Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is expecting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Armenia in the spring of 2026. He announced this at  a meeting with the Armenian community of Istanbul.

During the meeting, which took place before the talks between the  leaders of the two countries, Pashinyan announced his intention to  thank Erdogan for the invitation to visit the country.

The Armenian prime minister also announced his intention to invite  Erdogan to Yerevan to participate in the summit of the European  Political Community, which will be held next spring in Yerevan.  Pashinyan added that the summit will be held in Yerevan, including  with the support of Turkey. 

However, he found it difficult to name the date of the summit, noting  that it has not yet been agreed upon. 

"I hope that next year our meeting will take place in Armenia,"  Pashinyan added. Speaking about bilateral relations, the head of the  Armenian government expressed confidence that the normalization of  relations between Armenia and Turkey is a matter of time and requires  consistency, active work and dialogue from the parties. He also added  that there is no need to have inflated expectations from this visit.
