Armenia, Turkmenistan presidents  discuss further steps to enhance  bilateral cooperation

ArmInfo. During his working visit to Ashgabat, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with his Turkmen counterpart, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

According to the press service of the Armenian president, Khachaturyan congratulated his counterpart on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, wishing the country further development and progress, as well as prosperity and peace for the Turkmen people.

Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude for accepting the invitation and attending this important event for Turkmenistan. He emphasized that high-level reciprocal visits are a significant incentive for strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further steps to develop cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan in the political, economic, educational, cultural, and other areas. The importance of joint initiatives to preserve historical and cultural heritage was touched upon.

The importance of enhancing cooperation in energy, communications, and infrastructure development, was also emphasized. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and continuing effective collaboration on international platforms.
