As you may have heard, South Florida will be getting a special shout-out on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen,” courtesy of a three-minute broadcast airing live from a yacht docked at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale, all gussied up after a $1 billion makeover. Cooper and Cohen are my all-time favorite NYE hosts, sharing a smart, witty and generous brand of male friendship that you don’t see much.
