Ellicott City resident Caroline McCaffrey embarking on comeback after ruptured brain aneurysm

June 15 began like any other summer day for Bucknell sophomore Caroline McCaffrey. The Ellicott City resident, who runs on the Bison cross country and track and field teams, planned a 4-mile training run that evening. She asked her mom, Kim, to join on her bike, in what turned out to be a prudent decision that may have saved her life. Roughly half a mile from their home, McCaffrey’s neck stiffened and she attempted to loosen it.
