5 USC football players officially enter transfer portal

Friday marked the first day the college football transfer portal opened and five USC players have entered, with as many as 10 other Trojans expected to leave the program. Defensive lineman Devan Thompkins was the biggest name to officially enter the portal Friday. Thompkins, a junior, had 18 solo tackles and three sacks while starting at defensive tackle this season.
