In 2025, around $80 million in damages recovered to the state 

ArmInfo.In 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia recovered approximately $80 million in damages to the state within criminal cases related to economic crimes.


According to the supervisory authority, the recovered damages also include a company of strategic importance worth 1 billion 755 million drams.  Within completed criminal proceedings, damages to the state  amounting 15 billion 440 million drams were recovered, equivalent to approximately 41 million 174 thousand US dollars. This figure exceeds the 2024 damages figure by approximately 2.4 billion drams. "The restoration of damage caused to the state was carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings conducted on the facts of crimes committed by the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Holy See, Mikael Minasyan, the brother of the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, the brother of the former deputy of the RA National Assembly Aragats Akhoyan and persons associated with them, family members of the former deputy of the RA National Assembly Karo Karapetyan, former deputies Nahapet Gevorgyan, Harutyun Pambukyan and members of their families, as well as in several other criminal cases," the statement reads.
