RA minister of education and science, Bulgarian parliamentary  delegation  discuss prospects for developing inter-university  education

ArmInfo.  Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan met with a delegation led by Manoil Manev, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgaria- Armenia Friendship Group of the Bulgarian Parliament, to discuss opportunities for developing Armenian- Bulgarian inter-university cooperation.

According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the Minister emphasized the need to maintain the existing scholarship program and discussed the possibility of student and faculty exchanges, as well as the development of new joint educational and research programs.


In this context, the parties discussed the need to intensify cooperation within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programs. Andreasyan also expressed willingness to share Armenia's best practices in non-formal education, citing the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies as an example.

The head of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports noted that close cooperation between the parliaments of Armenia and Bulgaria significantly contributes to the development of friendly and partner-like relations between the two countries. Speaking about the country's readiness to expand joint initiatives and implement new programs, the Armenian official emphasized that Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation in education, science, culture, sports, and youth policy has significant, but not yet fully realized, potential.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibility of holding Armenian Cultural Days in Bulgaria and Bulgarian Cultural Days in Armenia, and touched upon a number of issues related to developing cooperation in music education, strengthening ties between the two countries' cultural institutions, and implementing joint programs.
