Reigning EBU Silver super bantamweight champ Melissa Mortensen (9-0, 5 KOs) outscored Tori-Ellis Willetts (7-2, 1 KO) from the UK over eight on scores of 78-73, 78-72 and 79-73. Willetts was down in the fourth but had her moments especially early in the fight.
In the show opener, big Cuban heavyweight prospect Carlos Castillo (10-0, 6 KOs) knocked out an out of shape Italian Gianmarco Cardillo (12-2-2, 2 KO2) at 1.35 of the second round. Cardillo was down in the first as well.
