Browns LB Carson Schwesinger is Defensive Rookie of the Year at NFL Honors

Carson Schwesinger's college football career started with next to no fanfare. The California native arrived at UCLA as a walk-on, and spent the first four years on campus on special teams and scout teams. That's not the case for Schwesinger's NFL career. The Cleveland Browns made Schwesinger the first pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft. Then he became a day-one starter at linebacker and one of the chief defensive signal callers.
