State high school wrestling and gymnastics events set for Pierre \u0026 Mitchell

Watertown High School's boys wrestling and girls gymnastics squads begin state competion on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. Aberdeen Central's boys wrestling team will join Watertown in the state Class A Dual Team Championships at Pierre. The Class A tourney opens at 11 a.m. with No. 1 Sturgis (18-0) vs. No. 8 Rapid City Central (23-10), No. 4 Watertown (11-2) vs. No. 5 Pierre (9-3), No. 2 Aberdeen Central (18-2) vs. No. 7 West Central (12-3) and No. 3 Brandon Valley (15-2) vs. No. 6 Harrisurg (18-7). Watertown beat Pierre 36-30, and Aberdeen Central beat West Central 45-30 during the regular season.
