Alabama softball's perfect start earns top 10 national rankings

Alabama softball’s undefeated start to the 2026 season furthered national respect following its first home tournament of the year. After a 4-0 showing at the Easton Bama Bash, Alabama jumped from No. 13 to No. 9 in the Week 2 USA Softball Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday, Feb. 17. The Crimson Tide remained one of 11 Southeastern Conference programs ranked in the poll after improving to 9-0 through the season’s first two weekends.
