State Swimming Results: Marcus boys win 6A title; Frisco ISD, Walnut Grove, McKinney North earn medals

Last season, the Marcus boys swim team totaled just two points at the state meet and finished in a four-way tie for 57th place out of 62 teams in attendance. One year later, the Marauders stood atop the podium as Class 6A state champions. Marcus completed a historic Saturday from the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center in Austin, totaling 148 points to outpace Houston Strake Jesuit (135) and Southlake Carroll (121) for the top spot in the 6A team standings. × This page requires Javascript.
